ROBERT W KEENER: CEO

Robert W. Keener is an icon in Texas real estate development. He has developed over $750 million dollars in real estate in a career spanning over 4 decades. His myriad of accomplishments include 1,000,000+ s.f. of structured parking garages, 1,000+ hotel rooms, 1,000,000+ s.f. of commercial space, and over 5,500 residential units. He has worked with the likes of Texas A&M, Texas Southern University, University of Houston, Hilton, Marriott and the William P. Hobby Airport.

Robert has the expertise required to get any project, of any size, completed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality. 2 of his Country Inn and Suites projects won the Best Construction and Beauty Award (2001 & 2002). To top it all off, Robert is an approved HUD sponsor, which allows him to be the lead developer on FHA 221(d)(4) projects.

Robert W. Keener has been involved in the real estate field since 1976 as a General Contractor, Construction Manager and Real Estate Developer. He co-founded KB Development / Trident Constructors, Inc. in 1979 and then in 1992, he created Mid South Constructors, L.C., development interests.

He was employed in the management program from 1970 until 1972 when he left to assist in the formation of Post Tension of Texas, a post tension cable-manufacturing firm that he sold in 1979, when he then created KB Development.

As an Owner’s representative, Bob and his team represent and watch out for its interests during the building process. The Owner's Representative shall fairly, accurately and in a timely fashion, represent the Owner's interests and assist in defining the requirements for all parties involved in a project. The Owner's Representative facilitates communication and coordination in an effort to successfully complete the building project on time, on budget and at the highest level of quality.

Robert Keener is an experienced Construction Manager Consultant of at Risk and Job Order Contracts, General Contractor's and Specialized Subcontractor Agreements, and Design/Build oriented projects. He's interfaced countless times with architects, engineers, owners, and many types of lending institutions.
